What are 12 inch traffic cones used for?

They are compact cones for spots where a full size cone is more than you need, like parking garages, warehouse aisles, sidewalks, school pickup lines and indoor floors. They weigh about 1.5 to 1.8 lb, so a stack is easy to carry and store. For work zones on public roads, taller cones are the norm.

What colors and styles are there?

The 12 inch cones come in orange, lime green, blue, yellow and red. Some have a black base, some are one solid color from top to base, and the JBC orange cone is also available with a 4 inch reflective collar for low light. Several of the solid color cones are made in the USA.

Can I use a 12 inch cone outdoors?

Yes. The cones are made for indoor and outdoor use, and their color is UV stabilized to resist fading. Their light weight makes them best for calm, low speed areas. In wind or near moving traffic, a taller cone with a heavier base stays put better.

What cones and cone accessories are available?

Cones in every size from 2 inch training cones to 36 inch highway cones, in standard orange and many other colors, plus the gear that goes with them: reflective collars, cone bars, chain and connectors, lights, weights, signs, carts and truck mount holders.

Why are traffic cones orange?

Fluorescent orange is the color drivers read as a warning, and it stands out against pavement, greenery and sky in daylight. The MUTCD calls for orange as the main color of cones used on public roads, which is why orange is the standard, while other colors are used for private property, events and sports.

12" Lime Green Traffic Cone with Matching Base, Made in the USA

Looking for a small lime green traffic cone with a matching lime green base? This USA-made 12-inch cone brings bright color, durable construction and a coordinated look to parking areas, school activities, event layouts and everyday facility organization.

The compact size makes it useful for marking individual spaces, outlining activity zones and creating visual boundaries where a smaller cone suits the job. Its fluorescent lime green color helps it stand out, while the matching base keeps your setup consistent from top to bottom.

Flexible Vinyl, Stable Base

All-vinyl construction delivers durability and flexibility in all weather conditions. Ultraviolet-stabilized color provides maximum resistance to fading during outdoor use. A high-density base creates a low center of gravity for maximum stability.

Small Cones for Organized Spaces

Use these 12-inch lime green cones for school activity stations, sports practice layouts, event setup markers and designated parking spaces. They also fit color-coded facility layouts where a consistent cone color helps teams identify specific areas.

Personalize Your Cone Order

Add optional custom stenciling to identify your business, school or facility. Reflective collars are also available for added visibility. Traffic Cones For Less can help you select the options that suit your intended use.
