What is a vertical panel?

It is a tall, narrow striped panel on a weighted base, a channelizing device for spots where you need height and visibility but do not have room for a drum or a barricade. The thin profile fits right on a lane line, a median, or a tight edge, and the reflective stripes read well day and night. Think of it as the skinny cousin of the barricade: same job of steering traffic, much smaller footprint.

What base weight do I need?

Match the base to the wind and the traffic speed. Lighter 12 to 15 pound bases are fine for calm indoor and low speed spots, the 20 to 30 pound bases are the everyday choice for most roads and lots, and the heaviest 40 pound plus bases are for open, windy sites and fast traffic where you cannot risk a tip. When in doubt, go heavier, since a panel that blows over stops doing its job.

Can I get custom artwork on them?

Yes, a lot of the panels take full color custom artwork, so a plain striped panel can carry your message, your logo, or a specific instruction instead. That is popular for valet stands, facilities, and events that want the panel to match the property or say something specific, and there are premium looks like the SparkleEdge line for dressier settings. Send over your artwork and the team will lay it out on the panel.

What delineators and panels are available?

Upright traffic guidance devices and their parts: flexible delineator posts, looper and grabber posts, vertical panels, channelizer drums and cones, delineator bars, bollard covers, roof warning line systems, and replacement bases, caps and hinges.

Delineator, vertical panel or channelizer, which do I need?

Delineator posts mark a line with a slim profile. Vertical panels add a tall, flat striped face for spots that need more visibility in a narrow footprint. Channelizer drums and cones are the boldest option for highway work zones and long closures.
