The Cortina Sport Cone is injection-molded from high-density polyethylene (HDPE), a rigid plastic that holds up outdoors.

Flexible PVC cones can go soft in the sun. HDPE stays rigid, so it won't get floppy after hours in the heat. That makes it a good pick for hot states like Florida, Texas, and Arizona.

At 1.6 lb it's also easy to carry, stack, and set out for events, schools, parking crews, and staff.

This cone is built for sports, events, parking, and guiding people on foot, not for roadway traffic control.

Because the HDPE is rigid, it won't survive being hit by a vehicle. Run it over and it can crack or break.
