How to Set Up a Lane Closure: Cone Spacing, Taper Length, and Sign Placement (MUTCD-Aligned)

Most lane closures on a jobsite look right at a glance and still fail the crew standing behind them. The cones are out, the signs are up, but the spacing is guessed and the taper is too short for the posted speed.
