What does the universal cone adapter do?

It slides over the top of a traffic cone and turns the cone into a holder for warning signs, lights, flags and barricade tape. It comes in yellow and orange.

Why use an adapter instead of a separate sign stand?

The cone is already standing where the hazard is, so adding the sign or light to it saves carrying a stand. The same cone can hold a sign one day and caution tape the next.

What kinds of traffic cone signs are there?

There are four main types: clip-on ABS plastic signs that attach to the top of a cone, ConeBoss signs that lock onto the cone top, reflective message collars that slide over the cone, and blank or custom signs for your own wording. A universal cone adapter also turns a cone into a holder for signs, lights and flags.

What size are cone signs?

Most clip-on cone signs are 11 x 13 inches, and some legends also come in 13 x 13 inches. Check the size listed on each sign, since a larger sign reads from farther away.

What kinds of signs are available?

Signs for roads, work zones, lots and events: roll-up signs and stands, MUTCD aluminum signs, warning and construction signs, portable and LED stop signs, stop/slow paddles, traffic cone signs, A-frame sidewalk signs, and custom signs with your own wording.

What makes a sign reflective, and do I need it?

Reflective sheeting bounces headlight beams back toward the driver, so the sign reads at night. Grades run from engineer grade, the standard, up to high intensity and diamond grade, which shine brighter and read sooner at speed. Any sign used on a road or in a lot after dark should be reflective.
