The Type I Barricade is a plastic panel barricade with a 14-gauge galvanized steel frame and nylon bolt. The panels are made from high-density copolymer polyethylene, which is resistant to impact and can withstand a wide range of environmental conditions. The unique "waffle" pattern of the board enhances its strength and rigidity with vinyl-injected plastic that is extruded throughout the entire panel. The barricades have been tested and certified to meet the crashworthy requirements of NCHRP-350 and have FHWA Acceptance.

• The Upper panel board is 8"x 24", lower board 6"x24" .
• The legs are made from 14-gauge galvanized steel angle iron or steel roll-formed material.
• The panels are made of high-density copolymer polyethylene with UV inhibitors.
• The panels have a high-impact resistant, vinyl-injected plastic.
• The material has a brittle temperature of -180°F and a softening temperature of +320°F.
• The legs are 1 1/4" x 14 gauge.
• All barricade components are completely interchangeable.
